Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy explains what users may and may not do with ProofLookup.

1. Lawful and Authorized Use Only

You may use ProofLookup only for lawful, honest, safe, and authorized verification purposes. You must have the right to create, upload, publish, verify, or distribute every record you submit.

2. No Fake or Misleading Proof

You must not use ProofLookup to create or distribute fake, forged, altered, misleading, or unauthorized certificates, IDs, licenses, diplomas, inspection reports, authenticity records, warranty records, government documents, legal documents, medical records, safety reports, or compliance claims.

3. No Impersonation

You must not impersonate or falsely imply authorization by any government agency, school, employer, laboratory, certification body, public authority, brand, manufacturer, seller, event organizer, professional organization, or individual.

4. No Unsafe or Harmful Use

You must not use ProofLookup for phishing, malware, spam, fraud, scams, harassment, doxxing, child exploitation, counterfeit goods, illegal goods, dangerous services, public safety threats, or any activity prohibited by law.

5. No Hidden or Cloaked Records

You must not use hidden redirects, cloaking, region restrictions, password gates, bot challenges, CDN rules, device filtering, link rotators, or conditional content to prevent us, users, platforms, or law enforcement from reviewing the true destination, record, file, or claim.

6. No System Abuse

You must not attack, scrape, overload, reverse engineer, bypass, probe, exploit, or interfere with the Service. You must not evade rate limits, create multiple accounts to bypass restrictions, or use automated tools without permission.
